TERRE HAUTE, IN (Feb 12,2025) - Dr. Zachary Oaks with Cancer Care Group, and the Union Health Hux Cancer Care Center have become the first oncology providers in Indiana to begin using the BioProtect Balloon, a rectal spacing device for prostate cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy.

In a pivotal clinical study, the BioProtect Balloon significantly reduced >25% rectal v70 in 97.9% of patients.2
