Biography

Dr. Ackley is an Indiana Licensed, Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. While Dr. Ackley is credentialed at Union Hospital and currently sees patients at the Hux Cancer Center in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Dr. Ackley graduated from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois in 1987. After graduating from Medical School he did an Internship in Radiation Oncology and Transitional Medicine through Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois followed by a Radiation Oncology Residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles, California completing his program in 1991.

Dr. Ackley joined Cancer Care Group in 1994.

During Dr. Ackley’s tenure as a Radiation Oncologist, he has participated in many professional societies and professional committees. Dr. Ackley has also participated and continues to participate in several medical research groups and has been published multiple times.
